Los Naranjales, Guatemala 🇬🇹 A smooth, balanced lot from Francisco Morales in Huehuetenango, with delicious notes of milk chocolate and orange.
Ivan dos Santos, Brazil 🇧🇷 From our long-term partner Ivan dos Santos. Expect rich, full bodied notes of cacao nibs, sticky dates, and dried fig.
My favorite was the Congo/Ethiopia — a really delightful coffee. Bright, lively, and expressive, but still very smooth and easy to drink. It has that clean sweetness and vibrancy that makes the cup feel exciting without being overwhelming.
The Brazil Elemental was also very good, but in a different way. It’s a very neutral, reliable coffee — basically a perfect everyday base for espresso. Not overly complex, but extremely well-balanced and comfortable to drink. The kind of coffee that consistently gives you a great shot.
