BREW GUIDES

  • Hario V60 drip brewer

    Hario V60

The Hario V60 is one of the most iconic drip brewers. The V60 is named after the angle that form its V-shape. The grooves on the inside the dripper support extraction along the side of the filter.

This full filtration creates extremely clean flavours while the paper filter also allows some of the coffee oils to pass through.

    Chemex

The Chemex was invented by Peter Schlumbohm in 1941 in Chicago, USA. Being a chemist, Peter understood extraction of flavor and caffeine very well. This resulted in the Chemex being not only a beautiful piece of design, but functional too.

The paper used for Chemex filters is slightly thicker than most, which creates incredibly clean brews.

    Aeropress

Invented in 2005 by Alan Adler (USA), the AeroPress has quickly gained popularity for its brew times and versatility – it delivers everything from Mokka to Filtercoffee.

The The AeroPress is based on the mechanics of the French Press. The addition of paper filters and a rubber seal results in excellent extraction and a fantastic mouthfeel.
