Our new café is located at the bottom of Weinbergsweg, right where it connects to the vibrant Rosenthaler Platz. The neighborhood has a fantastic mix of residential, shops, restaurants, bars and offices. Day or night, the crowds keep changing and in many ways, the area reflects what defines Urban Berlin today. Torstraße was once the boundary of the old city and Rosenthaler Platz was the city gate to the Barn Quarter.

The pavement of Weinbergsweg is lined with old trees, and there is no car traffic, which allows a buzzy pedestrian energy to thrive. Come spring time, the bustle of people walking up towards Kastanienallee or down to Rosenthaler Platz fills the air with conversation and life. Our café will be the perfect place to soak in that feeling.

The café will offer a wide array of seating options, complete with a quiet reading room in the back of the café. The open bar seats up front invite you to get close to the action; watching as our baristas carefully prepare their handbrewed coffee. Huge sash windows will bring the atmosphere from the pavement into our space. Our chairs and tables are our own unique design, and crafted by our local Berlin carpenter.

Behind the bar you will find a La Marzocco PB-X espresso machine, Mythos 2 and EK43 grinders, and a slick Marco Brew Bar for our hand brews. From our own kitchen, there is a great selection of homemade sandwiches, cakes and fresh juices, as well as teas. Vegan options are available. The retail shelves are always stocked with freshly roasted beans and our favourite brew equipment.
