In November 2024, we reopened our café at the legendary Kranzler-Eck in Berlin-Charlottenburg, offering coffee lovers an inspiring experience on the capital's most famous boulevard. Following the closure of the iconic Café Kranzler for multi-year renovations, it was only natural for us to seek a new home nearby.
"Since 2016, we have built a diverse fan base at Café Kranzler, who have been eagerly awaiting the upcoming reopening. We are very grateful that the owner was able to offer us an alternative space in the Kranzler-Eck," says founder Ralf Rüller.
The new location is characterised by a double-height ceiling and a glass façade, which creates a light-flooded space. Over 100 square metres, the in-house team led by Andreas Poulakidas has created a place that exudes a relaxing atmosphere while offering a modern design where lovers from all over the world can enjoy their hand-brewed coffees. The design takes up the typical core elements of THE BARN cafés: the raw oak reflects the natural elements of the coffee farms - the industrial stools are a nod to the artisanal production of the roastery. The clarity of the space is reminiscent of the high-quality coffees for which the Berlin specialists are known.
"The Kranzler-Eck is a Berlin landmark, and we are honoured to enrich this special place with our vision of coffee and hospitality," says Rüller "The reopening not only marks a new chapter for this location, but also our continued development as a brand."
