Los Naranjales is located in Huehuetenango, Guatemala, a region known for its distinctive growing conditions. During the coffee drying period, warm winds from Mexico influence the local climate and contribute to the unique environment in which the coffee is produced.
Inspired by the bright and refreshing character of Los Naranjales, we created our own coffee interpretation of one of Mexico's most iconic drinks: the Paloma.
The Paloma is one of Mexico's best-known tequila cocktails. Alongside tequila, its defining ingredient is grapefruit, giving the drink its characteristic balance of freshness, citrus, and gentle bitterness.
The name is associated with the famous song La Paloma. The origins of the cocktail itself are less certain, although one story connects it to Don Javier Delgado Corona, owner and bartender of the historic La Capilla bar in the town of Tequila.
Our alcohol-free coffee interpretation replaces tequila with Los Naranjales Cold Brew, pairing the coffee with pink grapefruit and cranberry juice for a bright, refreshing signature drink.
