HARIO V60

The Hario V60 is one of the most iconic drip brewers out. The V60 is named after the 60 degree angle that form its V-shape. The spiral grooves that run around inside the dripper support extraction and movement along the side of the paper filter. The larger hole at the bottom gives you control over your brew time..

This full filtration creates extremely clean flavours while the paper filter also allows some of the coffee oils to pass through, giving your brew the texture and silkiness we adore.

CHEMEX

The Chemex was invented by Peter Schlumbohm in 1941 in Chicago, USA. Being a chemist, Peter understood extraction of flavor and caffeine very well. This resulted in the Chemex being not only a beautiful piece of design, but functional too – probably why it is part of MoMA’s permanent exhibition in New York.

The paper used for Chemex filters is slightly thicker than most, which creates incredibly clean brews, but requires a slightly coarser grind setting. For this reason it’s best to grind your beans just before you brew. Store your full beans in a closed, zip-locked bag at room temperature.

AEROPRESS

Invented in 2005 by Alan Adler (USA), the AeroPress has quickly gained popularity for its brew times and versatility – it delivers everything from Mokka to Filtercoffee.

The The AeroPress is based on the mechanics of the French Press. The addition of paper filters and a rubber seal results in excellent extraction and a fantastic mouthfeel.
