Drip brewing refers to any method where water is poured over ground coffee, and allowed to drip through.
Drip brewing generally yields a relatively lighter body, crisper acidity, and greater flavor clarity than immersion brewing. This is due to the fact that the coffee is generally in contact with the water for a shorter time, is agitated less, and is often filtered through paper. Drip brewing equipment includes the Hario V60, Kalita Wonderwave, and the Chemex.
